For 2009, Manufacturing Computer Solutions, in association with Works Management magazine, has launched MCS Forum, with a series of informal manufacturing IT roundtables, aimed at project teams concerned with implementing, rolling-out, revitalising and/or moving their IT systems to the next level.
Under the direction of technology editor Brian Tinham, MCS Forum is running four half-day, invitation-only events, providing opportunities for in-depth advice, guidance and discussion on four key themes, each fundamental to coping with manufacturing business in tough economic times.
Delegates will include operations directors, finance directors, project team leaders and those responsible for IT. They will be joined by our advisory panel of manufacturing IT experts from a range of industries, as well as consultants, lean practitioners and relevant software and services vendors.
This is absolutely not about sales presentations; it is about raising issues, sharing and solving problems, and networking with like-minded senior and experienced people charged with evolving their IT implementations to better meet changing manufacturing business requirements.
